I had a terrible (not really, I'm just being dramatic) realization today. You know how when we think of people born in the 1800's its like woa your old. Well in 2080, people are going to be like you were born in the 1900's!? woowwww.....

Pastor: Now, according to a few passages in the bible, homosexuality is a sin.
Couple of older males in the audience: Amen!
Pastor: Now, wait, I'm not finished.
Pastor: You know what else the bible defines as a sin? Divorce.
-uncomfortable silence-
Pastor: There are countless passages that talk about how divorce is wrong, and that there are consequences to getting a divorce, such as the wife should be stoned.
Pastor: Yet, I witnessed a divorce just this morning. And I gotta tell you, it was heartbreaking, but I definitely didn't attempt to throw rocks at the wife, even though she was the one who filed for divorce.
Pastor: We choose to overlook the consequences of divorce because time has proven that they're inhumane and cruel.
Pastor: The bible doesn't say anything about the consequences of a homosexual lifestyle. Yet, we seem to be spearheading a campaign to ruin the lives of people we don't even know.

Pastor: The bible states to love thy neighbor. That's it. There are no other rules or restrictions to that passage.
Pastor: So, we as a church family have to support equality with a smile on our face. THAT is the true Christian way.

I never really thought of how wonderful it is for someone to say that they miss you. That means they are somewhere thinking about you, how great you are, and want to be with you. That is really flattering.
Sidenote: my friends always make fun of my little entries like this and they suck lol.

Day One Hundred and Ninety Seven
I get really worried when I see pictures of really young girls taking pictures in mirrors with bikinis on. They see teenagers doing it, and want to be like us. I know I did. It's scary. They are trained to start thinking about being "fat" so much earlier than I knew about that. That's another 4 years of trauma as a kid, they don't need that.
It's depressing how jaded our youth is.

As I was walking around my beautiful campus today I saw a box on the mall. It is so sad that I had to worry if there were explosives in a stupid box sitting on the ground.
